Umdenstock Wins Big With River Call
For the second time today, a huge cheer came from a table in the Amazon Orange section and again it was Joseph Umdenstock celebrating.
When we arrived at the table, Umdenstock was counting his chips, and the hand was retold to us by a player at the table.
On the flop, Umdenstock called a 10,000 bet. On the river his opponent bet 25,000 and Umbdenstock called again. When the river came the , Umdenstock's opponent went all in for around 38,000.
It was told that Umdenstock's opponent stated he held pocket aces and even put his passport on the table.
"I don't lie I am Canadian." it was reported the player said.
But after the clock was called on Umdenstock, who had his opponent covered, he ultimately made the call and took the pot with pocket queens after his opponent mucked to move up to 165,000.
