Gazlay Takes the Lead

Level 26 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

The action was complete, the full board of {Q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{A-Clubs} was out, and Brayden Gazlay was about to take the massive pot in the middle. He had {J-Diamonds}{J-Spades} face-up in front of him and had gotten all the chips in preflop against two players, one with {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} and another with {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}. Although Gazlay was ahead the whole way, the three diamonds on the flop left him vulnerable to flushes. Since he turned a set and the river bricked, he took the pot to seize the chip lead.
