Ziskin Doubles Despite Horrible Window Card

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Hold'em

Alexander Ziskin open-shoved in the hijack, making it 168,000. Jordan Polk was on the button, double checking the stack-sizes of the opponents to his left. Then he reshoved and the blinds went out of the way.

Polk was ahead with {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts} against {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and the {J-Spades} appeared in the window, narrowing Ziskin's chances. However, the complete flop rolled out {8-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{J-Spades} and Ziskin had a double gutter. He filled right on the {9-Clubs} turn and the {2-Hearts} didn't pair the board, giving Ziskin a double.

Jerome Bradpiece raised in the small blind and called when Fernando Brito jammed in the big. They were in a fair fight as Bradpiece showed {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} while Brito peeled {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}. The board of {8-Spades}{2-Clubs}{A-Spades}{A-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} hit Brito's hand and he eliminated Bradpiece in 10th place.

Iacofano Bets off Bradpiece

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

PLO

Kevin Iacofano opened to 35,000 from the small blind and Jerome Bradpiece defended his big blind. The flop came down {2-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and both players checked to see the {4-Clubs} on the turn.

Iacofano bet 50,000 and Bradpiece called to bring the {k-Spades} on the river. Iacofano fired again, this time for 125,000, and Bradpiece let it go.

Leng Pressures His Neighbors

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

PLO

Two consecutive hands of PLO saw Ryan Leng apply pressure after a few orbits of raise-and-takes on the table. The first hand started with Leng flatting in the cutoff when Samuel Welbourne opened to 25,000 in the hijack. Welbourne check-called 30,000 on the {8-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and the {8-Spades} landed on the turn. Leng fired the maximum, betting 125,000. Welbourne took over a minute and then folded.

On the next hand, Leng opened to 23,000 and Kevin Iacofano called in the cutoff. The {4-Spades}{A-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop brought a check from Leng and Iacofano bet 30,000. Leng, however, woke up with a check-raise, potting it for 151,000. Iacofano gave up.

Seond Barrel Does it for Vilchez

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

PLO

Jesse Vilchez opened to 20,000 from the small blind and Alexander Ziskin defended his big. A {7-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{A-Spades} flop fanned out and Ziskin called a barrel from Vilchez worth 30,000.

The {9-Diamonds} hit the turn and Vilchez's second bullet, a bet of 100,000, got Ziskin to fold.
