Abecassis and Gargano Eliminated by Sampath

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

Picking up the action on the {9-Clubs}{7-Spades}{8-Spades}{8-Clubs} turn, Tony Gargano had already put his chips in on previous streets while Girish Sampath and Michel Abecassis tangled for the side pot. Sampath checked, Abecassis potted for 13,200 and Sampath check-raised all in, covering Abecassis' 40,000 or so. Abecassis called but he learnt brutal news as he found himself drawing dead.

Gargano: {K-Hearts}{K-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
Abecassis: {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}
Sampath: {A-Spades}{9-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}

Sampath was in a great spot, having the big side pot locked as Abecassis' out for straight flush was blocked by Gargano. Abecassis knew his fate before the river where Gargano missed his two-outer as only king could save him but the {A-Hearts} landed instead.
