Hands #72-75: Nestorov Takes the Lead

Hand #72: Luis Vazquez raised to 4.8 million in the small blind and Renato Kaneoya called in the big blind. The flop came {J-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Vazquez bet 3 million. Kaneoya called. On the {2-Clubs} turn, Vazquez checked and folded to a bet of 9 million by Kaneoya.

Hand #73: Jeremy Perrin open-shoved for 20 big blinds first to act and forced folds all around.

Hand #74: Kaneoya raised to 4.8 million on the button and Svetlozar Nestorov three-bet all in from the small blind. Kaneoya let go.

Hand #75: Nestorov raised to 4.8 million on the button and was called by Perrin in the small blind and Vazquez in the big blind. The trio checked the {7-Spades}{4-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop, and Vazquez bet the {J-Clubs} turn for 6.5 million. Nestorov called while Perrin folded.

On the {K-Spades} river, Vazquez bet 13 million and Nestorov called after some consideration. As soon as he did so, Vazquez mucked his cards and the Bulgarian rail started cheering. Nestorov claimed the pot without having to show the cards and jumped into the lead.

Kelly Minkin Goes Deep in TWO WSOP Events

After cashing in the WSOP Big Blind Ante $1,000 Turbo, Kelly Minkin played the WSOP Tag Team Event with bracelet-winner Loni Harwood and Haixa Zhang and finished ninth. Kelly Minkin has $400k in WSOP earnings and was the "Last Woman Standing" in the 2015 WSOP Main Event. She talks to us about her WSOP cashes, poker dealers and the prospect of making more deep WSOP runs.

Hand #67: Renato Kaneoya limped in from the under-the-gun position but then folded after Luis Vazquez raised to 6,900,000 from the big blind.

Hand #68: A walk for Kaneoya.

Hand #69: Svetlozar Nestorov got a walk.

Hand #70: Vazquez raised to 5,400,000 from the under-the-gun position and that was enough to pick up the blinds and antes.

Hand #71: Nestorov raised to 4,800,000 from the button and Jeremy Perrin shoved. Vazquez asked for a count and the dealer confirmed it was for 23,300,000 in total. Vazquez tanked for a while but then folded. Nestorov snap-called.

Svetzolar Nestorov: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

The flop came {k-Spades}{j-Clubs}{3-Clubs} to keep Nestorov ahead but the {5-Diamonds} on the turn turned the tables around and now Perrin was ahead. The river completed the board with the {3-Diamonds} to secure the double-up for Perrin.

"You're not calling if I shipped?" Vazquez asked Nestorov.

Nestorov didn't reply.

Hand #65: Renato Kaneoya limped in the small blind and Svetlozar Nestorov checked his option in the big blind. Both checked through a board of {9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{A-Clubs}{5-Spades} and Kaneoya showed {Q-Spades}{4-Spades}, which Nestorov had beat with the {K-Hearts}{10-Hearts}.

Hand #66: Luis Vasquez raised to 4 million in the cutoff and Kaneoya three-bet on the button for 12 million, Vazquez called. On the {A-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop, Vazquez checked and Kaneoya bet 6.5 million. Vazquez check-raised to 16 million and forced a fold from the Brazilian.

Hand #63: Renato Kaneoya raised to 4,000,000 from the under-the-gun position. Vazquez called in the big blind. The flop came {q-Spades}{k-Hearts}{2-Hearts}, Vazquez check-folded to the 4,000,000 continuation-bet of Kaneoya.

Hand #64: Vazquez raised to 4,000,000 from the small blind and Kaneoya called in the big blind. They both checked through the {2-Spades}{j-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} on the flop to the {2-Diamonds} on the turn. Vazquez bet 4,500,000 and Kaneoya called. The river completed the board with the {10-Spades}, Vazquez bet again, now for 12,500,000 and Kaneoya folded.

Hand #58: Svetlozar Nestorov limped the small blind and Jeremy Perrin checked in the big blind. The duo ended up checking through the board of {A-Spades}{7-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} entirely and Perrin won the pot with {K-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} for a pair of sevens.

Hand #59: Nestorov raised to 4.8 million on the button and Luis Vazquez three-bet to 10 million out of the big blind. Nestorov got out of his chair to see the stack of Vazquez and four-bet all in, Vazquez called instantly.

Svetlozar Nestorov: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}
Luis Vazquez: {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}

The {A-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} flop improved Nestorov to a pair of aces and he even made two pair on the {Q-Diamonds} turn. A blank {4-Clubs} fell on the river and the Bulgarian rail started cheering. Their countryman doubled for 34.8 million and jumped into second place with four hopefuls remaining.

Hand #49: Luis Vazquez raised to 4 million on the button and Svetlozar Nestorov called from the big blind. On the {A-Spades}{7-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop, the Bulgarian checked and folded to a bet of 4.5 million by Vazquez.

Hand #50: Renato Kaneoya made it 4 million to go from the button and that ended all further action in the hand.

Hand #51: Perrin jammed from the small blind and Vazquez folded {10-Spades}{9-Spades} face up, Perrin flashed the {A-Hearts}.
