Fitoussi Tank-Calls to Chop

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

Bruno Fitoussi completed from the small blind and Mike Matusow agreed to see the flop. It fell {2-Spades}{J-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and Fitoussi check-called 60,000.

The {5-Diamonds} turn saw Fitoussi check again and Matusow announced he was betting pot, making it 240,000. Fitoussi called again.

A low draw got there with the {6-Diamonds} river and Fitoussi checked for one more time. Matusow tossed in a bet of 300,000 and Fitoussi spent over two minutes contemplating his decision.

Then he made the call, saying: "You confused me with the bet on the turn."

"I don't have much," Matusow said and opened {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{4-Clubs} for a seven-six low and a pair of sixes. They chopped the pot as Fitoussi tabled {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{10-Spades}{5-Spades} for a set of tens.

Couden Blasts Elezra off the Pot

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

Eli Elezra opened to 175,000 under the gun and Joey Couden called in the cutoff. A {k-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} flop fanned out and Elezra continued with a bet of 250,000.

Couden came over the top with an all-in jam for 970,000 and Elezra folded after several moments in the tank.

"Where's My Rail?"

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

Under the gun, Mike Matusow raised to 150,000 and Bruno Fitoussi defended his big blind.

Matusow bet another 150,000 on the flop of {K-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and Fitoussi check-called.

The {J-Clubs} turn discarded any potential low draws and both players checked to see the {A-Clubs} river. Fitoussi and Matusow skipped the final betting round as well and Fitoussi turned up a pair of tens. Matusow revealed {A-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and scooped the pot.

The spectators remained quiet and Matusow turned to them, asking: "Where's my rail?" He encouraged his fans who started applauding and shouting, "Come on Mike!"

Kim Kallman Eliminated in 6th Place ($40,141)

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

Kim Kallman

Christopher Conrad opened to 150,000 under the gun and Kim Kallman moved all in for 375,000. Bruno Fitoussi four-bet pot and Conrad called off the rest of his stack.

Kim Kallman: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}{q-Clubs}{3-Clubs}
Bruno Fitoussi: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts}
Chris Conrad: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Spades}

The board ran out {3-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{5-Spades}{5-Hearts} and Conrad hit it big. His flopped flush scooped the high pots and he chopped the low pot with Fitoussi to steal three-quarters of everything on the table.

Kallman found no help on the board and was eliminated in sixth place.

Fitoussi Enjoys the Spades

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante

Bruno Fitoussi limped in from the first position and Christopher Conrad made it 225,000 in the cutoff. Fitoussi reached to his stack and matched the offered price.

The dealer rolled out a flop of {10-Spades}{5-Spades}{J-Spades} but no bets were made. So the {9-Spades} appeared for free and Fitoussi took the betting lead, firing 200,000. Conrad double checked his cards and threw them away.

Matusow Gets Three Quarters

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante

Mike Matusow, Kim Kallman, and Joseph Couden all limped in and Bruno Fitoussi checked his option. The flop came down {3-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{a-Hearts} and Matusow bet 125,000. Kallman raised the pot, a bet worth 575,000, clearing out Couden and Fitoussi. Matusow took a moment before moving all in and Kallman called it off.

Mike Matusow: {a-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{6-Spades}
Kim Kallman: {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{2-Hearts}

The board ran out {2-Spades}{2-Clubs} and both players made a full house to chop the high but Matusow had the low and dragged three quarters of the pot.

Matusow Wins Double Getting it in Bad "for the First Time since 2005"

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante
Mike Matusow
Mike Matusow

Mike Matusow was in the small blind, raising to 100,000. Christopher Conrad defending his big and Matusow continued for 95,000 when the {9-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} hit the felt. Conrad potted and they ended up all in.

Matusow didn't like the showdown, learning that his {Q-Spades}{4-Spades}{5-Hearts}{3-Hearts} had kicker trouble against {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades}.

But the {3-Spades} turn gave him a boat. "That's a good one," Matusow said, waiting for the river. It was a harmless {2-Clubs} and Matusow doubled up.

"Mark that down! This was the first time since '05, when I won that ace-queen against ace-king, when I got it in bad and won."
