Fast Spikes a Rivered Set to Double

Level 4 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Dietrich Fast

Action was on the river between Dietrich Fast and Michael Kamran. The board was {10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} and Kamran was first to act and he checked over to Fast. Fast thought for a bit then moved all in for over 200,000 chips. Kamran thought for a while before calling. Fast turned up his {9-Hearts}{9-Spades} for a rivered set. Kamran mucked, but the dealer reveals his hand as it was an all in and call, showing {A-}{Q-} for top pair.

With that, Fast doubled back over the starting stack while Kamran dropped just under.
