Couple for Hoang Followed by Martini Scoop

Level 33 : 150,000/300,000, 0 ante
Kate Hoang
Kate Hoang

Kate Hoang kept up her unbeaten streak in the level by claiming the first two hands. In the first hand, she called a raise from Julian Martini. She check-called a bet on the {10-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} flop before leading out the {Q-Diamonds} turn. Martini folded.

The next hand, Hoang raised and took it. In the subsequent hand, Hoang check-raised a {J-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{7-Spades} flop and Martini called. Hoang barreled the {J-Spades} turn and {A-Clubs} river and Martini called it off with {A-Spades}{6-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades}. Hoang had {9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and the pot was chopped.

Martini finally claimed a full pot again in the next hand. He defended against Hoangs raise and both checked a {J-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop. Martini check-called bets on the {10-Clubs} turn and {7-Clubs} river.

Kate Hoang: {10-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}
Julien Martini: {J-Spades}{9-Clubs}{7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}

Martini scooped with jacks and sevens, ousting Hoang's tens and treys. Both players had no qualifying low.
