Hunt Busts to Shulman's "Nut Nut"

Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante
Jeff Shulman
Jeff Shulman

The next players to fall included William Brock, Nick Polydoros, Thomas Hunt and Danny Mangra. Not long ago, Mangra was holding a stack well above the average but all the chips since vanished.

As for Hunt, he was all in against Matt Woodward in the cutoff and Jeff Shulman in the big blind. Shulman bet the {A-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{2-Clubs}{6-Hearts} turn and the {7-Hearts} river. Woodward called both bets and was then shown {9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} for the "nut nut" by Shulman, the nut straight and the nut low.

Hunt could only reveal {A-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{6-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and Woodward stood no chance at earning a portion of the pot either with his {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{3-Spades}.
