Schwarmann Out First

Level 16 : 400/800, 100 ante
Andrew Sandomire
Andrew Sandomire

On Table #417, Vlad Darie raised to 1,400 from mid-position and was called by Martin Zamani (late position), Aaron Henderson (hijack), Anthony Reategui (cutoff), and Nick Schwarmann (button). Andrew Sandomire, sitting in the big blind, then three-bet to 6,700. Darie, Zamani, Henderson, Reategui all called. But Schwarmann tanked for a while and then decided to shove for almost 100 big blinds in total. Sandomire called and the rest all folded.

Nick Schwarmann: {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}
Andrew Sandomire: {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}

The flop came {10-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{9-Spades} to give Schwarmann a straight draw to survive as he was covered by Sandomire. The turn brought them the {9-Diamonds} so Schwarmann still needed an eight or seven not to be eliminated. The river completed the board with the {10-Hearts} which was not one of the cards Schwarmann needed, and he was the first player eliminated from his table today.
