Fuchs Doesn't Get Quartered

Level 21 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

Omaha-8

On a flop of {6-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{7-Hearts}, small blind Jason Adams led out, earning calls from Robert Jackson (under the gun) and Carol Fuchs (hijack).

The turn came the {2-Clubs} and Adams checked to Jackson who bet. Fuchs called while Adams sighed and folded.

The river was the {10-Spades} and Jackson bet one more time.

Fuchs said she had to call, although she felt she might get quartered. Jackson, however, had only the second nut low, showing {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}. Fuchs opened {A-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{J-Spades} and evenly chopped the pot with her opponent.
