Off to the Races

Level 4 : 75/150, 25 ante

There was a lot of interest in the hand preflop but in the end, it came down to just two players who were willing to stake it all on their hands. There was a 400 raise, a flat and another flat by James Akenhead on the button before the big blind squeezed to 2,000. This got the initial raiser out of the way but not Robert Peacock, who moved all-in. James Akenhead quickly folded and the big blind made the call.

Peacock was flipping with {q-Spades}{q-Hearts} against {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} as the dealer took them to the flop of {6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

The diamond flop didn't change much but the {7-Spades} turn did, bringing four straight outs that would give the two players a chop. The {10-Diamonds} river bricked though and Peacocks pair of queens is enough to win the 14,800 pot.
