Ferguson Looks at Disastrous Runout

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 7,000 ante

Chris Ferguson raised over Steven Albini's completion and Albini called with an ace. Both players received a jack on fourth street and Ferguson fired again, getting a call.

A jack paired Albini's board on fifth and Albini led out. Ferguson called with three consecutive cards, but what he saw on sixth street was catastrophic. Albini received another pair on his board with the {A-Diamonds} and he blasted.

Ferguson was visibly pained. He had a strong board himself but even if he held a straight, he knew he could be very well be drawing dead. He had two bets behind and took about a minute to finally convince himself to let it go.
