Farhad Mobassery

In the third last hand of the night, Farhad Mobassery's stack took a massive hit when he called down bets of Jeff Lisandro and made two pair, sixes and fours on the river, only for Lisandro to show trips queens.

The very last hand of the night then reduced Mobassery's stack to zero after a clash with Michael Moore.

Michael Moore: {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} / {Q-Spades}{6-Spades}{K-Spades}{2-Clubs} / {10-Spades}
Farhad Mobassery: {J-Spades}{J-Hearts} / {3-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{9-Diamonds} / {A-Hearts}

Mobassery completed, Moore raised, Mobassery made it three bets and was called. Moore bet and Mobassery called on fourth before the remaining 14,500 of Mobassery went into the middle on fifth. Moore turned ober a pair of queens and Mobassery had pocket jacks, sixth and seventh bricked off to send Mobassery to the rail in 10th place for $6,451.

As a result, the field has been reduced to the last nine and they will redraw, bag up and return tomorrow for the unofficial final table. The full chip counts and a recap of today's action are to come.
