Deeb and Cousineau Win One

Level 8

Limit Hold'em

Robert Campbell defended his big blind against a raise by Shaun Deeb and ended up check-calling the {Q-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{5-Hearts} turn before betting the {8-Hearts} on the river. Deeb called and was shown the {10-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for a missed straight draw by Campbell, claiming the pot with the {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}.

One hand later, Ashish Gupta raised on the button and Tony Cousineau defended the big blind. Both opted to check the {8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop and Cousineau check-called a bet on the {10-Diamonds} turn. The {2-Diamonds} river was checked once more and Cousineau's {A-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} for a flush with the six ended up winning the pot. However, Cousineau remains at around half the starting stack right now.
