Peter Klein Elminated in 5th Place ($38,309)

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante
Peter Klein
Peter Klein

Jordan Siegel opened to 80,000 from under the gun and Peter Klein then three-bet to 270,000. Siegel thought for a moment before making the call.

The flop came out {q-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and Klein then moved all in for 150,000. Siegel snap-called and the players then revealed their hands. Klein said,"I Don't Have Clubs" as he tabled {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}. Siegel did not have clubs either but he did table {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for a flopped set.

The turn came the {2-Clubs} and Klein could hit only a king to stay alive. The king did not come as the river fell the {j-Hearts} and Siegel took down the pot.

It folded around to Felipe Ramos in the small blind. He completed his small blind and limped. Filippos Stavrakis raised to 90,000 and Ramos decided to put in a three-bet of 270,000. Stavrakis asked how much Ramos had behind. Ramos had 145,000 behind and Stavrakis called.

The flop was {9-Spades}{2-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and all the chips went in the pot.

Felipe Ramos: {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{4-Clubs}
Filippos Stavrakis: {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{3-Spades}{3-Diamonds}

The board completed after the dealer put down the {9-Hearts} turn and {8-Clubs} river and Ramos secured a double up.

Siegel Takes Chip Lead From Stavrakis

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante
Jordan Siegel
Jordan Siegel

Jordan Siegel has won a big pot to take over the chip lead from Filippos Stavrakis.

Siegel raised from late position to 75,000 and Stavrakis was the only player to call, defending his big blind. As the dealer dealt the {Q-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop, Stavrakis check-called a bet of 110,000.

Both players checked on the {10-Diamonds} turn to see the {6-Spades} river appear. After Stavrakis checked, Siegel fired big with a bet of 375,000. Stavrakis took multiple minutes to think out his decision and eventually ended up calling.

Siegel showed {J-Hearts}{9-Spades}{8-Spades}{7-Spades} and won a big pot to become the new chip leader at the table.

Clinton Monfort
Clinton Monfort

Clinton Monfort moved all in for 100,000 from the cutoff and Filippos Stavrakis made the call from the big blind. Players then flipped over their hands with Monfort at risk.

Clinton Monfort: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}
Filippos Stavrakis: {k-Hearts}{j-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}

The flop was {q-Hearts}{3-Spades}{3-Spades} and Monfort was well ahead. The turn was the {q-Clubs} and Stavrakis was now drawing dead to the {4-Hearts} that came on the river. Monfort secured the double with his aces but is still the short stack and will be looking to change that.

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante
Thayer Rasmussen
Thayer Rasmussen

Thayer Rasmussen was all in for his last 12,000 in the big blind before any cards were out. Jordan Siegel opened to 55,000 from early position and was called by Filippos Stavrakis from the cutoff. Peter Klein called from the button as well and the flop came down {3-Spades}{8-Clubs}{10-Spades}.

Action checked to Klein who then bet 189,000 and everyone else folded. Klein took in the side pot and was heads-up against Rasmussen for the main pot. Players showed their hands and Rasmussen would be at risk. Klein showed {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs} for a flopped set of threes and Rasmussen tabled {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for a pair of queens.

The turn came the {5-Clubs} and Rasmussen was still behind. The {7-Spades} on the river changed nothing as Klein picked up the pot, eliminating Rasmussen in the process.
