Kruse Doubles Again

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,500 ante

Every player remaining has had their eye on max Kruse's stack over the last level. Kruse has been the shortest stack during hand for hand play and hadn't put himself at risk until recently. Kruse's stack had slid to just three big blinds before scoring a double up.

A couple hands later, Kruse put himself at risk. This time he had 36,500 to put in the middle and Mike Wattel was the opponent. Both players drew one and tabled their hands.

Max Kruse: {9-}{6-}{4-}{2-}
Mike Wattel: {9-}{8-}{6-}{3-}

Wattel flipped first revealing a {j-} and Kruse turned over a {5-} to stay alive.
