Fox Doubles Up

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Paul Volpe limped and Elio Fox checked his big blind. Volpe bet 100,000 on the {8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} flop and Fox called. The turn was the {a-Spades} and Volpe bet 285,000. Again, Fox called. The river was the {a-Diamonds}. Volpe bet 515,000 and this time Fox folded.

Fox was left with 1,175,000 and the next hand he moved all in from the small blind and got called by Adam Adler in the big blind.

Elio Fox: {q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
Adam Adler: {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The flop came {6-Clubs}{8-Spades}{2-Clubs} giving Adler a flush draw, but more importantly a pair to Fox. The turn was the {k-Spades} and the river the {4-Hearts} meaning Fox doubled to stay alive.
