Juan Pardo Dominguez, Jason McConnon, Justin Bonomo, and Martijn Gerrits

After the play-in round and four heads-up duels, the field of 114 entries has been whittled down to the final four in Event #16: $10,000 Heads-Up No-Limit Hold'em Championship . The coveted gold bracelet, as well as a payday of $185,965, is reserved for the eventual champion.

All remaining four players have $73,179 locked up for the efforts, while the runner-up in the final will go home with a payday of $114,933.

After an incredible start into the current year, all eyes are set on the American Justin Bonomo, who will aim to win his second WSOP bracelet today. He faces Dutchman Martijn Gerrits in the first semifinal at 12 noon local time on the ESPN Main Stage.

Around 1:30 p.m. local time (depending on the duration of the first match), the second semifinal will kick off with Spain's Juan Pardo Dominguez battling British heads-up specialist Jason McConnon for a spot in the final.

Pardo hasn't been a slouch at the poker tables this year, and he will aim to follow in the footsteps of his fellow countryman Adrian Mateos who won this very event in 2017 after defeating John Smith in the final. Meanwhile the online grinder McConnon will cross $1 million in cashes in 2018.
