Deeb Overbets and Gets Paid

Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,500 ante
Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb

A battle of the two biggest stacks ensued as Shaun Deeb opened to 18,000 from under the gun with Daniel Ospina flatting on the button.

Deeb then drew two cards with Ospina standing pat. After mulling over his options Deeb decided on a very hefty bet of 75,000. Ospina went into the tank for a minute or so but then tossed in the call.

"Ten six," said Deeb, showing {10-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{2-}. Ospina couldn't beat it and the nearly 200,000 chip pot slid in Deeb's direction.
