Von Halle On a Comeback

Level 23 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Just a few hands after being two outed on the river, Jan Christoph von Halle has pulled his stack back up towards the 1million mark. He opened the action from under the gun with a raise to 34,000 and got two calls, one from Steven Snyder in the cutoff and the other from Paul Mannoni on the button.

The flop fell {k-Clubs}{9-Spades}{5-Clubs}, and Von Halle continued with a bet of 58,000 before Snyder raised. Mannoni folded, Von Halle moved all in and Snyder snap-called.

Jan Christoph von Halle: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
Steven Snyder: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}

Turn: {2-Spades}
River: {a-Clubs}

Von Halle hit a set of nines on the flop and Synder was in big trouble with top pair top kicker. There was no help for Synder as the dealer revealed the turn and river leaving Von Halle to regain the chips he lost to Romain Villar just minutes before.
