Vieira Can't Pull a Call

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

On the flop of {9-Hearts}{4-Spades}{A-Clubs}, Joao Vieira was in the small blind checking to big blind Alan Richardson who checked to Layne Flack on the button. Flack gave a green light to the dealer to turn up the {8-Spades} turn and Richardson potted for 2,400.

Flack folded but Vieira threw in calling chips and they went heads-up to the {5-Spades} river. Vieira checked one more time and Richardson bet 5,000 after asking about the size of the pot, getting 7,200 as an answer. Vieira briefly thought about the situation and then decided to give up.
