Just 34 WSOP Bounty Hunters Remain
Day 2 of the WSOP's first ever bounty event saw 281 players return from a field of 2,178. After ten more levels of play that number was down to 34 with Vojtech Ruzicka holding 2,115,000 chips and the overnight lead.
The bubble burst early on with names like Celina Lin, Eddy Sabat, Steve Dannenmann, JC Tran and Liv Boeree all cashing, but failing to survive the day.
This with stacks heading into Friday's Day 3 include Jack Duong (1,139,000), Peter Murphy (747,000), John Myung (694,000) and Ray Yamasaki (650,000). Play will resume at 1 p.m local time with a WSOP gold bracelet and $333,351 first-place prize up for grabs.
