Pocket Rockets Propel Karr to a Big Double
We saw McLean Karr sitting on a healthy stack, and he was kind enough to tell us how he got all those chips.
As he told it, an under-the-gun player opened for 700 and a player in middle position three-bet to 1,950. Karr then four-bet to 4,775 from the cutoff, which inspired calls from the other two players.
The flop saw two checks, which put action on Karr. He bet 7,200, the original raiser called, and the three-bettor folded. When the appeared on the turn, Karr's opponent checked and Karr bet 12,000. His opponent then check-raised all in and Karr called off the 45,000 he had behind.
