A Set for Black

Level 3 : 150/300, 0 ante

Andy Black, one of the biggest characters at the 2005 World Series of Poker Main Event final table, just managed to rake in a decent-sized pot.

The board read {9-Clubs}{5-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Clubs} and with 3,600 chips in the pot, Weinman had, presumably, checked to Black. Black had 3,000 out in front of him and Weinman tanked for a long time before he called.

Black tabled {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds} for flopped set and Weinman mucked immediately.

"That could've gotten ugly," Weinman said.

"What did you have?" Black responded.

"A queen," Weinman said, as Black thought he could have earned a bit more off this hand.
