Feature Table Hands #29-32: Sabat Checks Back Top-Top

Level 31 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

Hand #29: Martin Jacobson raised to 320,000 from middle position, and Craig McCorkell called in the big blind to see the flop come {7-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{2-Spades}. McCorkell checked the middling board, then he called a bet of 300,000 from Jacobson. Action checked through the {8-Spades} turn and {10-Spades} river, and Jacobson's {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} was the winner.

Hand #30: Felix Stephensen made it 350,000 in the cutoff, and McCorkell popped it up to 875,000 from the small blind. He took the pot.

Hand #31: Jacobson opened the pot again, this time to 360,000, finding callers in Eddy Sabat in the cutoff and Bruno Politano in the big blind. Politano checked the {j-Spades}{6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop, and Jacobson's 450,000 was called by only Sabat. Jacobson checked the {3-Diamonds} turn before calling 500,000 from Sabat. The {q-Diamonds} was also check-worthy for Jacobson, and Sabat checked it back. Jacobson showed {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}, but the {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} of Sabat won the pot.

Hand #32: Mark Newhouse won the pot by raising to 325,000 on the button.
