Hands #168-172: Dimmig Scores The Double
Hand #168: Raised pot pre flop from Jeffrey Coburn and James Duke called. Coburn followed up the flop with a continuation bet of 1 million and that was enough to win the pot.
Hand #169: Raise and take it for Coburn, nobody wanted to call his 950,000.
Hand #170: Jonathan Dimmig raised to 900,000 and that did the trick.
Hand #171: Dimmig made it 800,000 to go and both opponents called. On the flop, Duke bet 1.4 million and was met with a min-raise to 2.8 million by Dimmig. Coburn surrendered and Duke asked his opponent “How much you got behind?”
Duke took about two minutes and then called. The turn saw Duke leading for 2 million and Dimmig ended up folding his cards. Some guys on the rail came up with a “Duuuuuke” followed by “Show the bluff.” Duke simply sent his cards to the dealer.
Hand #172: Duke wasn’t done yet with stacking the chips of the previous hand and raised to 900,000. Dimmig moved all in and Duke once again asked for a count. It was 4,275,000 in total and now Duke started stacking the remaining chips to have a better idea of his stack size.
Duke called after he was done stacking and then some more. It was off to the races:
Duke:
Dimmig:
The was great for Dimmig as he now had an open ended straight draw as well. However, the showed up on the turn. The rail erupted and the dealer delivered the for an even bigger cheer of the rail from Dimmig. He doubled up and the field is more even again.
