Kyriakides Gets a Small Payoff

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Hand #16: Isaac Baron raised to 65,000 in the cutoff and took the pot down.

Hand #17: Javed Abrahams raised to 75,000 and was called by Jonas Entin in the small blind and Michal Maryska in the big blind. Abrahams continuation-bet 150,000 on the {2-Hearts}{4-Spades}{9-Diamonds} flop when checked to, and he took the pot.

Hand #18: Miltiadis Kyriakides raised to 60,000 under the gun, and Entin potted to 215,000 on the button. Kyriakides' cards followed the blinds' into the muck.

Hand #19: Michael Shklover made it 70,000 and was called by Kyriakides in the big blind. After two checks, the board read {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{j-Spades}{2-Diamonds}, and Kyriakides bet 30,000. Shklover made it 125,000, and Kyriakides raised hi eyebrows before calling. The {a-Spades} completed the board, and Kyriakides folded to 275,000.

Hand #20: Shklover raised to 70,000 and won the pot.

Hand #21: Six players saw {q-Clubs}{5-Spades}{7-Diamonds} flop for the minimum, and everyone checked. Action went the same on the {8-Spades}, and a {4-Hearts} finished the community. Kyriakides bet 75,000 from the button after five more checks. Pat Walsh was the only caller, but he couldn't beat the {6-Spades}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{j-Spades} for a straight to the eight.

All three proceeded to check down a {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} board and Kyriakides took down the pot with {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{4-Clubs}.

Hand #13: Kyriakides raised to 60,000 in the cutoff and Isaac Baron called from the big blind.

The flop came down {9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{9-Spades} and Baron checked to Kyriakides who bet 60,000. Baron check-raised to 150,000 and Kyriakides gave up his hand.

Hand #14: Miltiadis Kyriakides raised to 75,000 from the hijack and took down the pot.

Hand #15: Pat Walsh raised from the cutoff and Javed Abrahams called from the big blind.

They checked to the turn of a {K-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{A-Clubs} board where Abrahams bet 100,000. Walsh called to see the {5-Hearts} river. Abrhams bet 250,000 Walsh called and Abrhams took down the pot with {Q-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for the nut flush.

Walsh Puts Maryska to the Test

Hand #6: Marko Neumann raised to 75,000 and took the pot.

Hand #7: Four players saw a {j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{q-Spades} flop for the minimum, and Michal Maryska bet 85,000 out of the big blind. Nobody called.

Hand #8: Pat Walsh raised to 105,000 from middle position, and Maryska called. On the {k-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} flop, Walsh bet 225,000 when checked to, and Maryska called to see a {3-Hearts} turn. Maryska decided to lead out at this point, firing 420,000. Walsh potted to put his opponent all in.

Maryska tanked for a good few minutes before ultimately laying it down.

Hand #9: Miltiadis Kyriakides raised to 60,000 under the gun. That drove everyone else out, and he showed {k-}{k-}{6-}{6-}.

Hand #10: Isaac Baron raised to 70,000, and Kyriakides defended his big blind. The flop brought {4-Clubs}{7-Spades}{2-Hearts}, and a bet of 95,000 from Baron. Kyriakides raised to 250,000, Baron folded, and Kyriakides got the better of him again.

Hand #11: Pat Walsh limped under the gun, and Javed Abrahams called in middle position, Kyriakides completed, and Marko Neumann checked. Walsh bet 125,000 on the {8-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{10-Spades} flop and took it down.

Hand #4: Michal Maryska raised to 52,000 in middle position and Marko Neumann called on the button. Pat Walsh three-bet the pot from the small blind, Maryska called and Neumann folded.

The flop fell {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and Walsh bet 350,000. Maryska called to see the {A-Diamonds} turn where Walsh fired 800,000. After about 90 seconds in the tank, Maryska gave it up.

Hand #5: Miltiadis Kyriakides raised to 50,000 in the hijack and was called by Michael Shklover in the big blind.

The flop fell {2-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{2-Spades} and Shklover check-called 50,000 from Kyriakides to see the {6-Hearts} turn. Shklover checked to Kyriakides who bet 125,000. Shklover check-raised to 350,000, Kyriakides called and both players checked the {7-Hearts} river.

Shklover tabled {A-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{8-Spades}{6-Clubs}, but it was second best to Kyriakides' {K-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} for trip deuces.

Hand #1: Isaac Baron opened for 60,000 in middle position, and Miltiadis Kyriakides called in the big blind. Kyriakides check-called 75,000 on the {9-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop. He then bet out 175,000 on the {5-Diamonds} turn, and Baron folded.

Hand #2: Michal Maryska raised to 52,000 in the cutoff and took it down.

Hand #3: Marko Neumann limped in from the small blind, and Pat Walsh checked. Both players checked the {a-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{9-Clubs} flop, and Neumann bet 32,000 on the {7-Hearts}. Walsh called, and both players checked the {5-Diamonds}. Neumann tabled {10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{9-Hearts} for a pair of eights, but Walsh had caught him with {7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{6-Hearts} for two pair.
