Matt Grapenthien: {x-}{x-} / {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{2-Clubs}fold
Todd Brunson: {q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{j-Hearts} / {x-}

Grapenthien checked on fifth street, Brunson bet, and only Yu called. Brunson led out on sixth, Yu called, and Brunson opted to check on seventh. Yu bet.

"Wow," Brunson said instantly.

He eventually reached into his stack and tossed out a call, prompting Yu to rip over {k-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{8-Clubs} for a full house.

Brunson mucked, and Yu was pushed the pot.

"Yu can do it!" someone from the rail shouted.

Aces and Kings for Hellmuth

Level 22 : 15,000/30,000, 3,000 ante

Phil Hellmuth: {X-}{X-} / {A-Spades}{5-Spades}{J-Hearts}{K-Spades} / {X-}
Todd Brunson: {X-}{X-} / {9-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{4-Spades}{5-Clubs} / {X-}

On sixth street, Hellmuth bet and Brunson called. This prompted Hellmuth to bet dark before either player received their final card. After getting the last card, Brunson thought for a few brief moments, then called.

"I had aces and kings immediately," said Hellmuth, rolling over the {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} from his hand, and then the {2-Hearts}.

Brunson mucked.

Henry Orenstein Eliminated in 8th Place ($31,419)

Level 22 : 15,000/30,000, 3,000 ante
Henry Orenstein - 8th Place
Henry Orenstein - 8th Place

After eliminating Jesse Martin in ninth place, Phil Hellmuth just sent Henry Orenstein to the rail in eighth.

Orenstein was all in on sixth street holding {6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} / {2-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{8-Hearts} against Hellmuth's {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts} / {9-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{Q-Spades}{10-Spades}, and he needed a diamond on seventh street to double up.

Orenstein's final card was the {7-Spades}, though, and Hellmuth finished with the {2-Spades}. That meant Hellmuth's Broadway straight was the winner, and the living legend Orenstein would have to exit to the rail in eighth place worth $31,419.

Martin was all in on third street against Hellmuth. Hellmuth was ahead with a pair of sixes on third, and then he added a second pair of deuces on fourth street. Martin remained behind, but things got worse on sixth street when Hellmuth filled up with sixes full of twos and had Martin drawing dead.

For his run, Martin earned $26,299, and pushed himself over the $2 million mark for live tournament earnings.

Jesse Martin: {X-}{X-} / {10-Spades}{8-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} / {X-}
Steve Landfish: {X-}{X-} / {K-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} / {X-}

On third street, Hellmuth was the bring-in, Martin called all in, Landfish called, and then Obst called. On fourth street, Landfish and Obst checked, Hellmuth bet, and then Landfish and Obst both called.

On fifth street, Landfish paired his king and bet. Obst called, and Hellmuth folded. Then on sixth street, Landfish bet, Obst raised, and Landfish called. On seventh street, Landfish check-called a bet from Obst.

Obst showed the {A-Spades}{8-Spades}{2-Clubs} for two pair, aces and deuces. He was able to win the side pot against the {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{J-Spades} for Landfish, who had kings and jacks, but then Martin took the main pot with the {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{7-Clubs} for three tens.

Hecklen Doubles

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Henrik Hecklen: {X-}{X-} / {2-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} / {X-}
Matt Grapenthien: {X-}{X-} / {J-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{7-Clubs} / {X-}
Steve Landfish: {X-}{X-} / {10-Clubs}{5-Spades}{8-Clubs}{3-Spades} / {X-}

Hecklen was all in on third street for 13,000 while Grapenthien and Landfish remained as the two active players in the hand. Grapenthien bet on fourth, and Landfish called, then Grapenthien check-called on fifth street before leading out on sixth. Landfish called.

On seventh street, both Grapenthien and Landfish checked.

Grapenthien showed {J-Spades}{7-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and Landfish had the {10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}. This gave Grapenthien the side pot with the better two pair, but then Hecklen was able to scoop the main pot when he showed a full house with the {4-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{2-Spades} — the last deuce he squeezed out on the river.

"You Deserve It, Nice Hand"

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Phil Hellmuth: {X-}{X-} / {Q-Spades}{7-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{6-Spades} / {X-}
Matt Grapenthien: {X-}{X-} / {2-Hearts}fold
Steve Landfish: {X-}{X-} / {K-Clubs}{A-Clubs}{9-Spades}{8-Hearts} / {X-}
James Obst: {X-}{X-} / {Q-Diamonds}fold

Grapenthien was the bring-in, then Landfish completed, Obst called, and Hellmuth raised. Grapenthien folded, Landfish reraised, Obst folded, and Hellmuth called.

Going into fourth street, Landfish asked Hellmuth something about his strategy, and Hellmuth said that Landfish would need a premium pair.

"I got one, do you?" said Landfish.

"Let's see if you can get there," responded Hellmuth.

On fourth street, Landfish bet and Hellmuth called. On fifth street, Landfish bet, and Hellmuth called again.

"I hope we both don't make our flush," said Hellmuth.

On sixth street, Landfish bet again, and Hellmuth called. Then on seventh, both players checked.

Landfish showed the {K-Spades}{J-Clubs}{5-Spades} for a pair of kings, and Hellmuth mucked his hand.

"You had the best hand the whole time," said Hellmuth. "You deserve it, nice hand."
