The Incredible Run of Nassif Continues

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Sergey Pomerantsev picked up {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds} from early position and Gabriel Nassif held {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts} in the big blind. The most obvious thing happened between the two short-stacks and all chips went in. Nassif scored the two-outer on the {7-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{7-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} board and the Russian was left with only 900 chips.

Of those, 400 went in as ante for the next hand and he was forced all in for the last 500 chips with {3-Spades}{6-Clubs}. He went into showdown against {4-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and the {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{2-Spades}{A-Clubs} board was another punch right under the chin. Poker can be such a cruel game at times.

Just a few moments after that, Adil Sbai and Andrew Kloc headed to the payout desk. Sbai had lost the majority of his chips against Will Givens not that long ago and could not run up the remaining 13 big blinds anymore.
