Hands #35-40: Wright and Negreanu Both Make Nines

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 4,000 ante

Hand #35: Jason Mercier raised to 35,000 from the cutoff and took down the blinds and antes.

Hand #36: Brian Rast pumped it up to 38,000 from the button and Larry Wright called from the big blind. Wright picked up one new card and Rast stood pat. Both players checked and Wright rolled over a nine perfect - {9-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-}. Rast mucked and Wright raked in the pot.

Hand #37: Daniel Negreanu was under the gun and raised to 45,000. The rest of the table folded and Negreanu won the blinds and antes.

Hand #38: Rast was under the gun and raised the action to 45,000. Every player folded and Rast took down the blinds and antes.

Hand #39: Mercier raised his button to 32,000 and Negreanu called from the small blind. Rast let go of his big blind, leaving the duo heads up to the draw. Negreanu pulled one new card while Mercier stood pat. Negreanu led for 75,000 and Mercier called. Negreanu showed {9-}{7-}{5-}{3-}{2-} which was good enough to take down the pot.

Hand #40: Negreanu opened his button to 45,000. Volpe moved all in over the top from the big blind and it folded back to Negreanu who kicked his cards in as well.
