Williams Relinquishes Chip Lead

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Kevin Williams opened to 17,000 from middle position and got called by both blinds; one of which was John Crisostomo from the big.

The {10-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs} flop was checked through to see the {9-Hearts} on the turn with Williams tossing in a single 25,000-denomination chip. The small blind folded but Crisostomo called as the {6-Hearts} completed the board on the river.

Crisostomo then looked down at his stack and started to cut away some chips from his stack before Williams mucked without Crisostomo realizing. The dealer then pushed the pot to Crisostomo, and he looked up not realizing what had happened. He then showed his {7-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for an expected bluff and raked in the pot.
