Notash Wins One, Then Loses One

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Cy Williams raised it up in early position Bijon Notash, Daniel Cascado, and Asi Moshe. The flop of {j-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{7-Hearts} was checked through, and the turn brought the {j-Hearts}. Moshe fired out 73,000, and Notash was the lone caller. The {8-Clubs} hit the river, and Moshe instantly fired out 75,000. It didn't take Notash long to raise to 175,000, and Moshe flashed a confused look, checked his hole cards, then tossed them in.

Shortly after, Notash started the action by raising to 63,000 in middle position. The lone caller was Mika Paasonen from the small blind, and the dealer fanned out a {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{10-Spades} flop. Both players checked, and the {3-Diamonds} hit the turn. Paasonen fired out 75,000, and Notash quickly called. The river was the {4-Hearts}, and Paasonen checked to Notash, who fired out 125,000. Paasonen called fairly quickly, an Notash could only muster up {q-Spades}{j-Spades} for a busted striaght draw. Paasonen rolled over {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}, and he took down the pot to up his stack to 910,000.

The turn was the {9-Clubs} and both players checked to see the {6-Diamonds} on the river. On the river Patel put out a bigger bet of 139,000. Moshe asked for a count of the but, but upon seeing the size he folded his hand quickly allowing Patel to take down the pot.

Zhou and Moshe Tussle

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Asi Moshe raised it up to 42,000 from under the gun, and action folded to Yongshuo Zheng in middle position. He assembled a three bet of 125,000, and tossed it into the middle. Moshe made the call, and the flop came down {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{5-Spades}. Moshe checked to Zheng, who fired out a bet of 180,000. Moshe has taken his time with his decisions so far today, but on this one, he only took about 10 seconds to call. The {9-Clubs} hit the turn, and Moshe checked again.

Zheng started to count out his chips, and at one point, looked like he would bet about 350,000. However, he broke it back down, counted some more, then announced all in for about 650,000. Moshe didn't take too long to fold, and Zheng took down the big pot to up his stack to 1.14 million, while Moshe dropped to 1.1 million.

Maksim Tyurin Eliminated in 11th Place ($35,023)

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Maksim Tyurin
Maksim Tyurin

We missed the preflop action from the hand, but we know that three players took to a flop of {5-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}. A bet from Maksim Tyurin drew a call from Yngve Steen and a fold from the other player.

The turn came down the {6-Spades} and after a check from Tyurin, Steen put out a bet of 59,000.With action back on Tyruin he announced a raise and put out a stack of green T25,000 chips worth roughly 300,000. Steen quickly announced an all in which drew an even quicker call from Tyurin.

Tyurin: {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}
Steen: {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}

Tyurin was in big trouble as he just had two outs to hit one of the last kings in the deck, and he couldn't do it on the {J-Diamonds} river. That allowed Steen to collect all the chips, bringing the remaining 10 players down to an unofficial final table.
