Cohen Fades to Double

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

On a flop of {2-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{7-Spades} we found both Steve Bartlett and Pete Males checking from the blinds over to Jonathan Cohen who bet out 105,000. Bartlett responded by making it 280,000, and once Males folded, Cohen called as the {J-Hearts} landed on the turn.

Bartlett moved all in and Cohen made the call for his final 303,000.

Bartlett: {K-Spades}{Q-Spades}
Cohen: {A-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

With Cohen in the lead, Bartlett was drawing to any spade, king or queen to take the pot, but when the {7-Hearts} landed on the river, he would be left with 110,000 as Cohen went climbing up to 1.36 million in chips.
