Mueller Plays it "Really Well"

Level 15 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Philip Sternheimer raised to 35,000 from early position, Greg Mueller three-bet to 87,000 on the button, and Sternheimer called. The flop fell {9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}, both players checked, and the turn was the {5-Clubs}. Sternheimer led out for 84,000, Mueller moved all in for 390,000, and Sternheimer went into the tank.

He called, and Mueller turned over {q-Spades}{q-Clubs} for an overpair. Sternheimer showed {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}.

The {q-Hearts} fell on the river to give Mueller a set for kicks and giggles, and when the stacks were counted down, Sternheimer had exactly 390,000 as well.

"I don't get anything back?" Sternhemier said with a grin on his face. "Not even one chip?
