Bonnecaze Survives, Then Doubles

Level 24 : 0/0, 20,000 ante

Hand #129- Blair Hinkle raised to 45,000, and Paul Lieu moved all in over the top. It got back around to Hinkle, and he smiled before open folding {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}, giving the pot to Lieu.

Hand #130- Ben Volpe made it 30,000 to go, and Hinkle reraised to 80,000. Volpe thought for about 30 seconds before firing out a four bet to 205,000, and Hinkle folded after just a few moments of thought.

Hand #131- Louis Bonnecaze moved all in for 55,000, saying "now or never". Lieu made the call, and Volpe also called. The two of them checked down a board of {a-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{j-Spades} {7-Diamonds}{9-Spades}, and Volpe showed {5-Clubs}{3-Spades} for a pair of threes. Bonnecaze had yet to look at his hand, and he revealed it one cards at a time: {6-Hearts}.....then the {3-Clubs}, making for a split pot.

Hand #132- Hinkle made it 35,000 to go, and Bonnecaze moved all in. Hinkle snap called.

Bonnecaze: {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Hinkle: {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

The flop came down {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{a-Spades}, giving Hinkle two pair, and Bonnecaze middle pair. He was looking for another queen to win the hand, and he managed to get just that, as the turn brought the {q-Hearts}. Hinkle would now need an ace to retake the hand, but the {4-Spades} hit the river, giving Bonnecaze the double.
