Moorman Loses Big, Then Wins Big

Level 20 : 0/0, 8,000 ante

Hand #44

Three players limped in, and Chris Moorman made it 29,000 to go. Ben Volpe then reraised to 63,000. It got back around to Moorman, and he kicked his hand in, giving Volpe the pot.

Hand #45

Ben Volpe made it 24,000 to go, and Chris Moorman called. Blair put on the squeeze to 58,000, and Volpe made the call. Moorman also called, and the flop came down {k-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}. It was checked through, and the {K-Hearts} came on the turn. Volpe checked to Moorman, who fired out 60,000. Both his opponents folded, and Moorman took it down.

Hand #46

Moorman made it 20,000 to go, and Ben Volpe called from the button. The flop came {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}{6-Spades}, and Moorman c-bet to 33,000. Volpe made the call, and the {9-Hearts} hit the turn. Moorman stayed aggressive with a bet of 83,000, and again, Volpe just made the call. The river brought the {k-Clubs}, and Moorman slowed down and checked this time. Volpe fired out 97,000, and Moorman folded his hand, giving Volpe a good sized pot.

Hand #47

Facing three limpers in front of him, Adam Stone moved all in. Everyone else folded, and he took down the pot.

Hand #48

Three players limped in before Paul Lieu made it 20,000 to go. Chris Moorman made the call from the button, and the two players went heads up to a flop of {4-Clubs}{10-Spades}{A-Diamonds}. Lieu checked to Moorman, who grabbed chips, and fired out a bet of 35,000. Lieu came along to see the {5-Hearts} hit the turn, and Lieu checked again. Moorman did likewise, and the {k-Spades} hit the river. Lieu checked a third time, and Moorman bet out 81,000. Lieu tanked for quite some time into the break, and he eventually called. Moorman showed {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for top pair, and Lieu mucked his hand.

Hinkle Takes the Chip Lead, Moorman gets Aggressive

Level 20 : 0/0, 8,000 ante

Hand #39

Blair Hinkle raised it up to 28,000, before Adam Stone moved all in over the top, which was enough to take down the pot.

Hand #40

Chris Moorman raised it up to 31,000, as Blair Hinkle made the call. Both players then saw the flop come {5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}, before both players checked their options. The {4-Diamonds} made it way to the turn, and Moorman once again checked. Hinkle reached for chips, and placed out a bet of 33,000, which forced a fold from Moorman almost instantly.

Hand #41

Three players limped into the pot, before Horacio Chaves moved all in, which was good enough to take down the pot.

Hand #42

Four players limped into the pot, before Ben Volpe raised it to 26,000. He was awarded for his patience, as his opponents folded their hands.

Hand #43

The hand started with four players limping into the pot, before Louis Bonnecaze raised it up to 35,000. Action folded back around to Chris Moorman, who made the call, as both players saw the flop come {5-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}. Moorman checked, as Bonnecaze placed out a continuation bet off 55,000, which was called shortly after. The {10-Spades} made its way on the turn, as Moorman checked once more, and Bonnecaze checked after a longer pause. Both players then checked the {2-Diamonds} on the river, before Moorman tabled his {8-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for a pair of nines, which was good to take down the pot.

Danny Johnson Eliminated in 8th Place ($19,660)

Level 20 : 0/0, 8,000 ante
Dan Johnson
Dan Johnson

We had some internet issues in the amazon room, and as a result, lost our post with the last three hands. In one of those, Danny Johnson was eliminated when he shoved with {q-Spades}{j-Spades} on a {3-Spades}{6-Clubs}{9-Spades} flop. Blair Hinkle looked him up with {9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}, and the {9-Spades} on the turn gave Johnson a flush, but Hinkle an unbeatable full house. Hinkle's rail erupted as he jumped up to 600,000, while Danny Johnson bowed out in 8th place.

Bonnecaze and Hinkle Add to Their Stacks

Level 20 : 0/0, 8,000 ante

Hand #31

All eight players limped into the pot, as the flop came down {a-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}. The action folded around to Chris Moorman, who bet out 22,000, as it folded back around to Horacio Chaves. He raised it up to 55,000, as Moorman thought for a minute, continuously looking down at Chaves stack, before opting to lay down his hand.

Hand #32

After several limps, Blair Hinkle raised it up to 28,000, before Daniel Johnson raised it up to 56,000. With the action back on Hinkle, he paused for a moment, before moving all in, which was good enough to take down the pot, as Johnsons cards flew quickly into the muck.

Hand #33

Louis Bonnecaze raised to 35,000 following a limp from Chris Moorman, before the rest of the table, including Moorman, folded their hands.

Hand #34

Louis Bonnecaze again raised it up to 35,000, which was good enough to take down his second pot in a row.

Hand #35

Blair Hinkle limped into the pot, before Adam Stone raised it up to 24,000. Chris Moorman asked for a count, before bumping it up to 62,000 in chips. With the action back on Hinkle, he moved all in, producing a snap fold from Stone, as Moorman followed shortly after.

Moorman Spikes Unlikely Double

Level 20 : 0/0, 8,000 ante

Hand #28- Seven players saw a flop of {8-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{4-Spades}, and Paul Lieu fired out 12,000. That bet got through, as everyone folded their hand.

Hand #29- Six players limped in to see the flop come down {j-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. Blair Hinkle tossed out 18,000, and the rest of the limpers got out of the day.

Hand #30- Horacio Chaves limped in, and Chris Moorman moved all in for 211,000. Adam Stone then moved all in over the top, and Moorman was in trouble.

Moorman: {3-Clubs}{3-Hearts}
Stone: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}

The flop was dry for Moorman, coming {k-Hearts}{7-Spades}{8-Clubs}. He could only catch a three now, and the dealer brought the {3-Diamonds} out of nowhere on the turn. Moorman's rail erupted while he sat motionless, knowing the hand wasn't over. Stone could catch up if a jack came on the river, but that card was the {4-Hearts}.

After taking that down, Moorman is now up to 435,000, while Stone dropped to 310,000.

Pressure on Hinkle

Level 19 : 0/0, 6,000 ante

Hand #23

Three players limped into the pot, before Blair Hinkle raised it up to 24,000. Daniel Johnson looked over at Hinkles stack, before making the call. The flop came down {6-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{4-Clubs}, as Johnson checked his option. Hinkle threw out a continuation bet of 16,000, which was enough to take down the pot, after a short pause from his opponent.

Hand #24

Adam Stone raised it up to 21,000, before Ben Volpe re-raised to 52,000. The action folded back around to Stone, who bumped it up to 115,000 in chips. Volpe looked over at Stone, and eyed off his stack, as he sat there thinking about his next move. He eventually let it go, as Stone took down the pot.

Hand #25

Chris Moorman moved all in for 126,000 in chips, which was enough to take down the pot, as one-by-one, his opponents, folded their hands.

Hand #26

Blair Hinkle raised it up to 23,000, before being met with an all in from Chris Moorman. The bet was too much for Hinkle to call, as his cards went into the muck.

Hand #27

Blair Hinkle raised once more for 24,000, before Paul Lieu moved all in over the top. The count was 196,000 in chips, as Hinkle thought about his decision for a few minutes. He eventually opted to fold, as Lieu took down the pot.
