Brandon Meyers Doubles Through Chris Sly

Level 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

Brandon Meyers is up to almost 25,000 chips after doubling through the UK's Chris Sly.

Meyers opened to 1,300 from UTG+1 and Sly called from the big blind, but not before checking how many chips Meyers had in his stack. The dealer fanned out the {8-Spades}{Q-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop and Sly checked. Meyers fired a continuation-bet, Sly raised enough to put Meyers all in and Meyers called.

Sly: {Q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Meyers: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}

Both players had paired their queen, however Meyers was way in front by the virtue of his ace-kicker. The {Q-Diamonds} turn was followed by the {J-Diamonds} river and with that Meyers saw his stack double.
