Dan Kelly Eliminated 10th Place ($33,090)

Level 23 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Dan Kelly - 10th Place
Dan Kelly - 10th Place

Action folded to Matt Berkey who moved all in from the small blind and Dan Kelly quickly called out of the big blind.

Berkey: {A-Diamonds}{3-Spades}
Kelly: {A-Spades}{9-Spades}

Kelly was dominating Berkey but quickly fell behind after the flop came {3-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}. Kelly was suddenly in need of improvements to stay alive in the tournament. The {2-Clubs} struck the turn and Kelly needed a nine for the win or a four to chop. Unfortunately for Kelly, the {6-Hearts} hit the river and he was eliminated in 10th place. Despite coming up short of a final table, Kelly scored his 6th WSOP cash this year thanks to his deep run in this event.

Dean and Pollak Play Big Preflop Pot

Level 23 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Andrew Dean opened the action by raising to 32,000 before the flop. In the next seat over, Benjamin Pollak raised to 84,000.

Action folded back around to Dean who thought about it briefly before raising it up to 176,000. Pollak asked that the original bet be pulled into the pot so he could see what he was faced with. Eventually he settled on another raise, this time to 307,000.

Back on Dean he ended matters by moving all in. Pollak folded without much thought and Dean picked up the pot.

Nikolai Sears opened with a raise to 32,000 before the flop and it folded around to Andrew Dean who three-bet to 88,000. Sears announced all in for 468,000 total and Dean announced a call.

Sears: {A-Clubs}{4-Clubs}
Dean: {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}

Dean retained his lead when the flop came {2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{6-Hearts}, but Sears was able to spike the {A-Diamonds} on the turn to jump into the lead. The {7-Clubs} finished off the board and Sears was able to score a double up to about 940,000 in chips while Dean has fallen to 714,000.

Jamie Rosen Eliminated in 11th Place ($25,071)

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Jamie Rosen
Jamie Rosen

Just before the break Jamie Rosen and Andrew Dean found themselves in a raising war. Rosen opened the pot to 26,000. In the next seat over Andrew Dean reraised to 62,000. Action folded back to Rosen who put in a fourth bet to 141,000.

Dean thought about it for a bit before finally moving all in for more than 600,000. Rosen called quickly.

Rosen: {J-Spades}{J-Clubs}
Dean: {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}

The flop was safe for Rosen when it came down {2-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{8-Clubs}. Rosen had the air taken out of him though when the turn fell the {Q-Diamonds}. Rosen needed a jack and only a jack on the river. The card was paint, but it was the {K-Hearts} and not enough for Rosen to catch up.

After the hand the chips were counted and Dean had just a bit more than Rosen, earning him the elimination.

From the button Nick Schulman moved all in. Matt Berkey folded the small blind. Chanracy Khun looked at this cards in the big blind, then made what looked like a pained call for all his chips.

Schulman: {A-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
Khun: {A-Clubs}{5-Spades}

The flop brought both players a pair when it fell {4-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{7-Spades}. But the turn {4-Spades} and river {J-Diamonds} were both safe cards for Schulman who was able to score the elimination.

Stout's Stack Keeps Growing

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Matt Stout raised to 27,000 from under the gun and his only caller was Matt Berkey from the cutoff. The flop brought down {7-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and Stout continued out for 34,000. Berkey called and the turn was the {K-Hearts}. Stout fired once more, this time for 58,000. Berkey stayed the course once more and the {A-Hearts} finished off the board. Stout moved 110,000 into the middle and Berkey went into the tank.

"Call," Berkey announced after a moment.

Stout showed {A-Clubs}{9-Hearts} for a rivered pair of aces. Berkey mucked his hand and Stout dragged in the pot.

"I keep getting bailed out when I don't have it," said Stout.

"I called you with threes," replied Berkey, who is now sitting at about 390,000 in chips.

"That Was Actually Pretty Exciting"

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Nick Schulman raised to 25,000 preflop. Action folded to Chanracy Khun who moved all in. Action folded back around to Schulman who snap called.

Schulman: {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}
Khun: {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}

"Boring," Matt Stout said from the other side of the table.

The dealer put out the flop of {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}.

"Not anymore," Schulman said.

The turn and the river were the {5-Clubs} and {8-Spades}, both safe cards for Schulman who stay alive as the two players chopped the pot.

"That was actually pretty exciting," Schulman said after the hand.

"Yeah, sorry for jinxing you like that," Stout said.
