Ford Makes a Crying Call

Level 27 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

Joe Ford opened for a raise on the button, and Can Kim Hua defended his big blind.

Hua grabbed the betting lead on the {k-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} flop, and Ford called. Action went the same on the {6-Clubs} turn. A {10-Hearts} fell on the river, and Kim fired again. Ford went into the tank.

"Not much I can beat," he said. Ultimately, he decided to call. Hua showed him {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for two pair, and Ford mucked.
