Lee & Harwell Sent to the Rail

Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

David Chiu was under the gun and raised to 12,000. Mack Lee then three-bet to 18,000 and Sumanth Reddy made it four bets to go from the hijack. Chiu called, Lee committed his remaining 4,000 and it was off to the {3-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{k-Clubs} flop. Chiu had checked in the dark and then folded to a bet from Reddy.

Reddy: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}
Lee: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

Reddy tabled his hand first and showed trip kings and the nut-low draw, but his high was no good as Lee had a set of aces! The {J-Hearts} turned seemed innocent enough, and so did the {8-Hearts}. Both Lee and Reddy were prepared to take half the pot, but then someone at the table pointed out that Reddy not only made a low, he also hit a runner-runner flush.

Lee quickly turned his attention back to the board and discovered the bad news. "Sorry," Reddy said before Lee made his way to the payout desk in 32nd place.

A minute or so later, Robert Harwell joined him on the rail in 31st place.
