Sowers Gets Dealt the Exact Same Hand Twice

Level 4 : 100/200, 0 ante

Matt Waxman opened to 300 in the hijack seat, Mike Sowers three-bet to 750 on the button, and Brian Hastings cold four-bet to 1,700 from the big blind. Waxman thought for 15 seconds or so before folding, and Sowers five-bet to 3,750. Hastings moved all in for around 11,000 or so, and Sowers called.

Sowers: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Hastings: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}

"I had Stinger beat," Waxman said, referring to Hastings' holdings.

The tens held as the board rolled out {2-Spades}{2-Hearts}{j-Spades}{7-Spades}{j-Clubs}, and Hastings was eliminated.

The very next hand, Jake Schwartz opened to 400 in early position, Sowers called in the cutoff, and the button and both blinds released. Schwartz led out for 400 on a flop of {6-Clubs}{8-Spades}{2-Hearts}, Sowers called, and the turn brought the {9-Diamonds}. Schwartz led out again, this time for 850, and again, Sowers called.

The {5-Diamonds} completed the board, and Schwartz checked for the first time. Sowers tossed out two yellow T1,000 chips, and Schwartz flipped forward a single green T25 chip, signaling a call. Sowers showed {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} for the exact same hand as he had in the previous hand, but Schwartz had that beat with {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades} for aces.
