Daniel Negreanu Eliminated By Manuel Bevand

Level 1 : 50/75, 0 ante

Two minutes and one hand into Level 1 was all it took for the first elimination to occur.

After a player in middle position raised to 150, Daniel Negreanu called on the button. Manuel Bevand three-bet to 525 from the small blind and only Negreanu called to see a flop of {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}. Bevand continued for 800 before Negreanu popped it to 2,400. Bevand reraised to 5,200, leading to an all-in shove from Negreanu for 14,575. Bevand called.

Bevand: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}
Negreanu: {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

It was middle set for Bevand against the flush draw and double-gutter straight draw for Negreanu. The {7-Clubs} turn and {2-Spades} river were blanks for Negreanu, giving Bevand the early double up and Negreanu the rest of the night off.

Daniel NegreanuWow that was fast! First hand of the $5k PLH and I busted. Flopped straight flush draw vs a set and missed it. Oh well!
