Ortynskiy Three-Bets Seventh

Eddie Blumenthal completed the bet with {a-Hearts}, and Viatcheslav Ortynskiy with {3-Diamonds} was the only caller. Blumenthal kept firing through fifth street, and Ortynskiy called him down before leading sixth when he caught another three.

Blumenthal made the call, and the dealer tossed out seventh. Ortynskiy bet again, and Blumenthal raised. Ortynskiy made it three bets, and Blumenthal called. Ortynskiy revealed {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for a flush caught on the last card.

"Disgusting," Blumenthal said, tossing his cards to the dealer.

Both players checked the river and Ahmed showed {6-}{4-}{q-} for six-high, and Schneider mucked his cards. As the dealer prepared for the next hand, Schneider said to Ahmed, "Believe it or not, I was drawing live." Ahmed said he was not surprised, but still seemed happy with the hand.

Bohlman Doubles Through Ortynskiy

Viatcheslav Ortynskiy completed from early position with {a-Diamonds}. Scott Bohlman, with a {7-Clubs}, was the only caller. Ortynskiy kept firing when he got a {9-Diamonds} and Bohlman a {10-Diamonds}. Bohlman called. They got the rest of Bohlman's chips in on fifth.

Ortynskiy: {5-}{2-}/{a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Bohlman: {4-}{3-}/{7-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}

Bohlman was ahead with a ten-low, but Ortynskiy was nearly certain to make at least a nine. Sixth brought an {8-} for Ortynskiy and another {10-} for Bohlman. Ortynskiy's final card was a {j-Clubs}, meaning he had a nine-eight. Bohlman squeezed out a deuce to make a nine-seven and double up.
