Tieman's Kicker Takes It Down

Action started with Joshua Pender raising to 1,250 in the cutoff, and Josh Tieman was the only caller on the small blind. The flop ran down {a-Hearts}{4-Spades}{7-Clubs}, and both players checked it. The {q-Spades} hit the turn, and Tieman fired out 1,500. Pender came along, and the river was the {a-Diamonds}. Tieman check called a bet of 5,000 from Pender, who showed {a-Spades}{5-Diamonds} for trip aces. It was no good though, as Tieman showed {a-Clubs}{9-Spades} for better trips.

Tieman is up to 28,000 after the hand, while Pender is knocked down to 26,500.
