Huge Pot For Medici

Giorgio Medici has just won the largest pot of the day. It all started when Desmond Portano opened it up to 26,000. Aviraham Lovton then called on the button and it was on Medici in the small blind. Almost immediately Medici three-bet to 146,000 and it was back on Portano.

Eventually Portano made the call and Lovton quickly called as the dealer would spread three cards along the felt.

Flop: {9-Spades}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}

As soon as the dealer had finished spreading the cards, Medici had announced he was all in. Portano got out of the way and Lovton called just as quickly as Medici bet.

Medici: {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Lovton: {7-Spades}{6-Spades}

Medici would need some help or he would be out of this tournament.

The {10-Clubs} was certainly a step in the right direction for Medici as he now had outs to the flush and to the straight. When the dealer turned over a {k-Clubs} on the river, Medici would give a little fist pump and Scott Seiver would also take a moment to fist bump him.

Medici is now one of the few players with over a million in chips, while Lovton is now in trouble.
