Hand #312: Straight for Sylvia

Level 40 : 600,000/1,200,000, 200,000 ante

Greg Merson had the button to start this hand. He folded, and Jesse Sylvia limped from the small blind. Jake Balsiger checked and took the {A-Spades}{J-Spades}{9-Diamonds} flop in position. After Sylvia checked, Balsiger checked behind.

The turn was the {8-Spades}, and both checked to see the {10-Spades} come on the river. Both checked again.

Balsiger showed the {10-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for a pair of tens, but Sylvia's {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} was good for a ten-high straight, and he won the pot.
