Deeb Hanging On
It folded to Freddy Deeb in middle position who checked his cards, then declared he was all in. When Timothy Adams indicated he wanted to know how much Deeb had, Deeb immediately answered.
"98," he said, referring to his stack of 98,000. Then he leaned over to Eric Cloutier on his right. "Give me two thousand to make it a hundred," he said, and Cloutier jokingly pretended as though he was giving him a couple of yellow chips.
Adams finally folded, as did everyone else, and Deeb showed his hand — — as he dragged the small pot. "You make a good laydown, buddy?" he asked Adams, who answered "Yes, of course."
