Brian Minding His Table's Chips
We just watched Brian Meinders rake in a handy little pot over at his table. By the time we arrived, there was a flop out on the felt and Meinders and two opponents were each committing 10,500. Meinders was in the big blind position, the small blind was still in the mix, along with a player in middle position. All three players then checked the turn and did the same on the river.
"I got a king," said Meinders.
That was enough to send the middle position's cards into the muck, while Meinders' other opponent waited a few moments before saying, "nut flush." It would have been a slow roll if that were possible, but the player turned over for a busted nut-flush draw.
