Trickett Amongst the Elite
By making the money in this event, Sam Trickett earned another seven-figure tournament score, giving him four in his career. The only other players with four or more seven-figure scores are Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi, Phil Ivey and Gus Hansen. This puts Trickett in quite the company of players as one of the elite. What's so crazy about Trickett is that he's still so young at just 25 years of age and has plenty of poker ahead of him.

With the more than $1.6 million Trickett has already locked up in this event, his all-time live tournament winnings have eclipsed $7.9 million. It's safe to say, Trickett is officially playing with the big boys.
